This stoneware mug was thrown on the wheel and fired in a wood/soda kiln to about cone 12, or ~2400°F
It’s decorated with a satin white glaze on the outside, and a slip on the exterior which highlights the dramatic flashing and variation characteristic of atmospheric firings.
