This stoneware mug was thrown on the wheel and stamped with a woodblock while the clay was still wet, then altered into a soft-square shape. It was fired in a wood kiln to about cone 12, or ~2400°F.
It’s lined with a warm off-white glaze on the inside, with sections of natural ash glaze on the exterior
