These cups were thrown on the wheel and stamped with a woodblock while the clay was still wet before being fired in a wood/soda kiln to about cone 12, or ~2400°F.
They’re lined with a satin white glaze on the inside, and the outside is unglazed, showing subtle examples of the flashing and variation that are characteristic of atmospheric firings.
